Description
The tombs are where Wonjong, father of King Injo (1623-1649), the 16th King of the Joseon Dynasty, and Queen Inhyeon are buried. The size and shape of the tombs show the typical style of the mid-Joseon era. Below the tombs, there is a room called Jesil where King Yeongjo (the 21st King) and King Jeongjo (the 22nd King) used to have a ceremony for the deceased. The surrounding area is made to look like a park. It is close to Seoul, so many families come here to have a picnic on holidays.
