- The Geuk Rak Go Jeon of Shilreuksa(Temple) is the Buddhist sanctum where the Amitabha is worshiped. It is located in the heart of the precincts of the shrine. After it was built during the fourth year of King Suk jong during the Josun Dynasty (1678), King Jeong Jo began reconstructing the tower in the year 21 (1797) and finished construction after 24 years
