Agreement Concluded for Health Screening Service for Multicultural Families
At 11:00 A.M. on June 24 of 2009, Jangan-gu Public Health Center in Suwon City held a signing ceremony to mark the launch of its health screening services for multicultural families. The ceremony was attended by the President of the Suwon Hospital of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center, the President of Jangan-gu Public Health Center and the President of the Gyeonggi Branch of the Korea Association of Health Promotion.
The Health Center will manage resources for multicultural homes, the Korea Association of Health Promotion will provide medical check-up services, and the Suwon Hospital of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center will provide healthcare services based on the results of the medical check-ups. The organizations pledged to maintain a close partnership to support health promotion and healthcare services for the rapidly increasing number of multicultural families. It is expected that the partnership between the three organizations will create synergies that will promote the health of all Gyeonggi residents.
