Ajou University Hospital
Introduction to International Heath Care Center International Health Care Center was established in 1994 but reorgamized in 2003 as it is. It is reserved for only foreign patients seeking treatment at the Ajou University Hospital. Situated on the ground floor of the hospital, the center is ready to provide various medical services by accommodating patients with spacious office and comfortable snug waiting area, and assistance for foreign visitors by staff qualified in the English language.
Since its foundation in 1994, by paying attention to and interested in diverse treatment and administrative support, Ajou University Hospital has made meticulous efforts to cater to international patients with high quality medical services and minimizing inconveniences. In particular upon its opening, the hospital has built a joint alliance not only with the Osan and Pyeongtak U.S. Military Medical Group that recognized our competent and efficient staff and up to date medical equipment, but also with the 18th MG in Yongsan in 2003.
Additionally, the Ajou University Hospital and Gyeonggi Province reached the “24 Hours Foreigner Treatment System Establishment” agreement in January 2006 and thus we, on a round the clock basis, provide treatment for international patients.
Allocating staff in complete charge of outpatient, inpatient, emergency room, respectively to channel all resource to international patients 24/7, Ajou University Hospital has started English Education Classes program, set up a Foreigner only ward and beds, and developed diverse occidental regimens in order to solve every possible discomfort induced by cultural dissimilarities.
Above all, the International Health Care Center is doing its best to help international patients quickly heal with the help of the top notch medical staff, medical apparatus.

Interstate, Highway or Expressway Gyeongbu Line (Interstate or Expressway No.1) Enter the Suwon toll gate and turn left to Suwon and go forward. Pass by the entrance to Wonchun Amusement Park and turn right to National Geographic Information Institute and pass it by. Advance and enter the underground passage and keep on going straight.
Youngdong Line (Interstate or Expressway No.50) Enter East Suwon toll gate and pick left to Gwangju or Suji. If you see LG gas station, turn right. Then you will see World Cup Stadium and Ajou University. Advance again.
Uiwang, Gwachun (National Highway or Instate No.1) In Uiwang, Head down to Osan and at Changryon gate intersection, turn left to Seungnam. Afterwards, turn right at Yeonmu middle school and advance. Coming from Seoul Gangnam Station (Exit No.3)(In front of Alpha Stationery Store , Yangjae Station, Seocho Local Community Center) Bus No. 3001, 3007, Get off at Ajou University (about 40mins required)
Sadang Station (Exit No.4) or Namtaeryeong Station Bus No.7000, Get off at Ajou University (about 30mins required)
Jamsil Station (Exit No.6)(Fifth Complex), Suseo Station (Across the Rosetell Department Store) Bus No. 1007-1, Get off at Ajou University (40mins expected) Coming From Suwon Station Bus Bus No. 720, 720-2 In front of the station and get off at Ajou University Bus No. 2, 10, 10-1, 10-2, 10-3, 13-2, 37, 58, 83-1, 84, and 85: Same as above, Get off at Ajou University Three-way Junction (10mins walk up to the hospital) Cab To Ajou University Hospital, 6.0km (approximately 4.5 mile, 6,000 won) When driving Follow the signs on Gyeongbu Line (Interstate or Expressway No.1) and head to Shingal and turn left at Ajou University Three-way Junction and turn right before Ajou University. Coming from Yongin or Shingal Bus Bus No. 10, 10-1, 10-2, 10-3, 27, 27-1, 37, 58, 66, 66-1, 66-2, 66-3, 66-4, 600 and 6000 : Get off at Ajou University Three-way Junction and walk up to the hospital (10mins required) When driving Go straight to downtown Suwon and turn right to National Geographic Information Institute and pass it by. Advance and enter the underground passage and keep on going straight. Coming from Seungnam and Bundang Bus Bus No. 720, 720-1 and 720-2: Get off at Ajou University Bus No. 7, 7-2, 7-3, 7-5, 700, 700-1 and 700-2 : Get off at Yeonmu middle school and take a cab or bus heading to Ajou University. When driving - Take Instate No.43, Pass by the World Cup Stadium and keep on going straight. Form Osan (Osan Bus Terminal) Bus Bus No.58, 58-1 and 37(National Folk Village) : Get off at Ajou University Three-way Junction and walk up to the hospital (10mins required) Bus No. 300: Get off at East Suwon Intersection and take a cab or a bus coming to Ajou University. When driving Take Gyeonggi-Suwon Industrial Road. Turn right at East Suwon Intersectoin and turn left at Ajou University Three-way Junction and head up to the Ajou University. From Gunpo (Uiwang) Bus Bus No.65, 333, 600, 650 and 800 : Get off at Ajou University Three-way Junction and head up to the Ajou University. Bus No.300 or 306: Get off at East Suwon Intersection and take a cab or bus coming to Ajou University. When driving Take Instate (National Highway) No.1. Head down to Osan and at Changryon gate intersection, turn left to Seungnam or Gwangju. Afterwards, turn right at Yeonmu middle school and advance. From Pyeongtak Express Bus (Yongnam Express), Get off at Ajou University

Shuttle Bus We operate shuttle buses from the hospital to East Suwon Intersection from 8:30 to 16:30 evety 30 minutes, and thus urge you to get on the buses.
