Close to downtown Seoul, Gwacheon Theme Park features a variety of modern amusement and cultural facilities with a fascinating and lively ecosystem. Surrounded by the dense Cheonggye Mountains (618m above sea level), the park offers recreation and relaxation along with a zoo

Seoul Race Course • Under the motto of ‘A Fun and Exciting Racecourse and A Happy Family,’ the Seoul Race Course is a family park where visitors enjoy a good time with their families while watching horse racing. In the 16th century, horse racing was a sport for the higher classes such as the royal family and at the Seoul Race Course, guest might feel like they, too, are a member of a royal family. Upon entering the park with the payment of the admission fee (KRW 800), there are two buildings (Lucky Vill and Happy Vill) in which to buy betting tickets. Lucky Vill has a room exclusively for foreigners on the 4th floor. The Seoul Race Course features a variety of facilities such as a Family Park, an Equine Museum and a Traditional Korean Wedding Hall. Try to get a ride on the free
Flower Wagon or borrow a Dotjari (Korean mat).

Seoul Grand Park • Seoul Grand Park features a zoo in which a variety of fun and exciting events such as a Flamingo Show, Dolphin Show and Animal Show are held throughout the year. The botanical garden is home to 1,263 kinds of plants, a 40,000m² rose garden, a theme garden where special exhibitions are held throughout all seasons and a forest exhibition center where visitors can encounter native Korean trees, grasses, mushrooms, insects and birds. A beautiful recreation forest,
campground, marathon course and hiking trails add to the attraction of Seoul Grand Park.
