Chunghyun museum is preservation remains and relics about one of a cleanhanded government officer Ori Lee Won Ik (1547 – 1634) and his descendants in Chosun dynasty. Ori Lee won ik is the 5th grand son of third king Taejong of 12th son Ikryunggun he was a prime minister during Sunjo, Gwanghaegun and Injo and he gave lots of benefit to nation. This place is he spent time in the end of his life and near the place there are authorized cultural assets such as Gwangamdang which Injo gave him and shrine Oriyoungwoo, Chunghyunseowonji, House etc., and his father Hamchungun and his brother Lee won bo’s grave. And also he played Korean zitherlike instrument place Tangeumam and 400 years old thuja and recently rebuilt Poongyokdae, Damdangdae which is pavilion so an elegance old mild of a Chosun Dynasty classical scholar can watch. A portrait of an Lee won ik, writing, message from king, the collection of works, a SaGweJangYeonCheop etc., are displayed in the exhibition hall. Chunghyun museum is built in order to deliver and develop about Ori Lee won ik of loyalty and filial piety and cleanhanded government officer minds.
