[South Korea GyeongGi-Do] Mt.Geomdansan

Description
Five kilometers east of Hanam-si is the 657m-tall Mt. Geomdansan. According to one legend, the mountain is named after the famous Zen priest, Geomdan, who is said to have gone into seclusion here. Mountain-goers turn to this mountain for undertakings of sacrificial rites to mountain gods and for a one-day hiking course. Though the mountain is relatively small, the reed forest at the top of the mountain is simply beautiful. What is best about this mountain is the fact that it offers a fabulous view of the area around Paldangho Lake. An additional perk is the sight, from the mountain's peak, of the point where Namhangang and Bukhangang Rivers meet between mountains in Yangsu-ri, Yangpyeong-gun.
