Everyone, this place is located in Gunpo.

This place works around the clock to stably provide citizens with clean water,

Along with something else special.

Let’s all go have a look!

Water Theme Museum

You can directly experience and learn everything about water here.

Water Love Room

Your eyes have so many things to take in here, from various models to images on simple facts on water, its history, and the production processes of tap water.

This place is full of water-related information on its history of development, water and the Earth, and water and the human body.

I think that this is very educational because I can naturally let my children look around the place to easily understand how the water comes to our house and why we have to conserve water.

I’ve never known it before that so many microorganisms such as closterium, amoeba, water flea and euglena live in the water.

How much water is needed for its purification?

The largest amount of water is needed in purifying noodle water, milk, edible oil and soju.

This is the Gunpo Water Purification Plant that creates fresh and clean tap water that we use to wash and drink.

This is where you can enhance your originality by understanding scientific fundamentals on the use of water by using educational tools for water experience, such as the pump house of spiral water.

Water Theme Museum

This place has Jagyeokru(water clock), Cheukwugi(rain gauge), Mujawui(water pump), Yongdurae(scoop bucket), wells and water mills, artifacts that our ancestors used back in the past.

This is an outdoor area that recreated past life customs on water.

Kim Seong-hwa

It’s so nice to be at the Water Theme Museum with my children.

It was nice that the children could see how water actually comes to us.

Also, it was very interesting and helpful seeing the tools placed outdoors, that we used in the past.

Water Theme Park, full of interesting and helpful contents

How about enjoying a visit of realizing the preciousness of water with your family in this era of high oil prices?
