Etant Children’s Museum provides visitors with an opportunity to view the paintings made by children from a fresh perspective. Children’s paintings are not just the scribblings of childhood, but are valuable records of children’s ideas and emotions, which are indicators of their growth. The Museum also aims to facilitate the growth of children by developing their mental faculties, creativity, expression skills, concentration and overall potential through arts education. The exhibitions of the Museum are divided into invitational exhibitions and special exhibitions. Special exhibitions are held four times a year, and the themes or projects vary.

Most notably, the Museum provides a vision for the growth of children in five categories, in order to help children grow into adults that possess creativity, imagination and talents to see the beauty of the world.

First, creativity and creative power improve when children are free to complete their paintings.
Second, great paintings suggest fun ideas and deep impressions, which are closely related to excellent mental faculties.
Third, drawing is naturally combined with writing if the artistic presentation of children is strong.
Fourth, children with strong concentration can complete great artworks.
Fifth, children can make artworks with diverse themes if they realize the pleasure of discovery.

With the above vision, the Museum has operated a number of programs, including the World of Art where children express themselves, the Home School to develop healthy emotions and creativity, Olive Tree Art School, and the Etant Children’s Workshop.

Etant Children’s Workshop is a program targeting child artists, and is the highest level of program of Etant. The half-yearly project of Etant Children’s Workshop is similar to an art camp, at which the invited artists gather their energies to work under a single theme, and host an exhibition to promote a shared spirit.

Children who are invited to the Etant Children’s Workshop focus on works both individually and in groups, with the guidance of curators. The experience will give children a special opportunity to develop an open perspective, and experience a group exhibition with the works they have completed with innovative techniques.

There are three projects being operated. The overview of the projects is as follows.
Project 1 – Art Factory, Think like Andrew Warhola
Project 2 – What are you thinking about, Basquiat?
Project – Minimal – Intelligent plays to add meanings
To participate in projects, contact the museum for qualifications, duration and operating hours.
